Taxi Drama received RECOGNITION award in the Use of Digital Media and New Technologies category
Agency McCann Belgrade’s campaign ‘Taxi Drama’ received ‘RECOGNITION’ from the Serbian Society for Public Relations.
The campaign, created and implemented by the creative team of the McCann Belgrade agency and PR team of I&F McCann Grupa, is declared the best in the Use of Digital Media and New Technologies category.
“I am most happy about the fact that Jury’s opinion coincided with the great reception of this campaign among the target audience. Apart from tangible business results for our clients, as a Creative Director of the McCann Belgrade agency, I find every recognition and award for one of our works flattering and enjoyable. The ‘RECOGNITION’ award has even greater significance given that it came to us straight after recognition at one of the most prestigious advertising festivals in New York, at which Taxi Drama made it into the final short list as the only entry from the South East Europe region.” pointed out Vladimir Ćosić, the Creative Director of the McCann Belgrade agency.
‘Taxi Drama’ campaign was made as part of the repositioning and image refreshing efforts of one of our most renowned theatres – Yugoslav Drama Theatre. Other than great reception and positive impressions by the public and at home festivals, it has also earned success at regional and international festivals. Beside the SoMoBorac award for Viral Blockbuster at the Weekend Media Festival in Rovinje, Golden and Silver Drum at the Golden Drum regional festival in Portorož, as well as participation in the AdCup festival, the Taxi Drama campaign recently made it into the final short list of New York’s advertising festival, in the Social Media and Viral Marketing category.

Serbian Society for Public Relations’ ‘RECOGNITION’ was awarded for the 18th time this year at the traditional event dedicated to PR individuals, organizations, companies, institutions and agencies with the best and most professional communication activities over the course of the previous year. Winners were decided by the Jury of professionals from the field of communications, corporative, non-profit and academic sector representatives.
