McCann Beograd Agency of the Year in Serbia

The agency campaigns were rated with the highest number of points at the national Festival of Integrated Communications KAKTUS according to the expert jury from Serbia and the region.

McCann Beograd was named the Agency of the Year in Serbia at the national Festival of Integrated Communications KAKTUS. After recent success at the BalCannes and Golden Drum regional advertising festivals, McCann Beograd has won this prestigious award for the fourth time in the last 5 years.

According to the jury of reputable marketing professionals from Serbia and the region, McCann Beograd had the highest number of points among 183 entries, and the awarded campaigns are “I DisOwn my Child”, “#StayClean”, and “fARytale Journey”, realized in cooperation with agencies UM Beograd and Drive.

“The Agency of the Year award helps us bring a very challenging year to an end. We are also proud of the fact that this award is being won for the fourth time in the last five years and that the professional community recognizes our work in the diverse categories in which we have been awarded. This award is also a recognition for the brands we work with, our associates and partners, as well as for the teams, which recorded successes at local and international festivals. The “I DisOwn my Child” campaign was awarded in the Print and Cross media integrated campaign categories. “It is an honor and a pleasure to work on a project like this, where through a ” neglected ” media such as print, which had a strong impact on all other channels and media thanks to, above all, a good idea and creativity. I wish there are more projects like this, where the message is conveyed in the right way through the synergy of ideas and good media support, ”said Ana Kovacevic, Account Supervisor at UM Beograd.

The “#StayClean” campaign was awarded in the Digital Integrated Campaign category. “From the initial idea, through numerous presentations, bizarre casting and filming, to launching and reading numerous comments and opinions on this subject, the whole process was full of confidence in the project’s potential and was a special experience for the whole team. We are proud that the #StayClean campaign has been recognized as one of the best this year and for the results it has achieved in a very short time, ”said Vladimir Kondzulovic, Copywriter, Drive. “Exit has made great efforts from the start to realize this idea, and the recognition at this year’s Kaktus Festival is another confirmation of the great collaboration of all who participated in the #StayClean campaign,” added Stefan Nikolic, Designer, Drive.

The “fARytale Journey” campaign was awarded in the Digital – Mobile category. “A big thank you to the client for their confidence and courage, as well as to our partners who helped to implement the ‘fARytale Journey’ project. With the development of humane technology, I believe that we have at least somewhat succeeded in helping to socialize and build relationships with children, and through the interactive learning process, enriched with fun AR content, we have provided valuable moments for children to experience with their parents. This recognition is another confirmation that we have succeeded in this, ”explained Zdravko Kevresan, Associate Creative Director, DriveNemanja Ostojic, Copywriter, Drive, adds, “From the moment we got the brief to the time the app was in the app stores, this project required tremendous teamwork and learning about new technologies on the go – and I think we did both in the best way possible.
