From Sofia to Ljubljana, employees at the agencies of I&F McCann Grupa came to work in ties, bow ties, braces, trillby hats, elegant dresses, make-up and heels and the inevitable cigarette holder and cigar.
For starters, one big spoiler alert: if you haven’t watched the latest episode of the current season of Mad Men, skip the next passage!
All real fans of the cult series know that McCann is mentioned in many episodes, more often than not as the “sausage factory”. And then, in the seventh season of the series, there’s the big twist – the whole agency and its employees are taken over by McCann, by which, Don Draper and the crew become a part of this great agency!
To mark the broadcast of the first episode of TV series Mad Men and as a warm welcome to our “new colleagues in the McCann family”, all agencies that make up I&F McCann Group organised an “Elegant Friday” at the end of last week, inspired by the style from the “golden age of advertising”. From Sofia to Ljubljana, employees came to work in ties, bow ties, braces, trillby hats, elegant dresses, make-up and heels and the inevitable cigarette holder and cigar. Cocktail parties were held in every city, where the best-dressed Mad McCann Man and Mad McCann Woman were chosen by the votes of their colleagues, and rewarded with prizes. From small, but precise details, from the series soundtrack, selected original cocktails, all the way to the head-to-toe outfits, the spirit of Madison Avenue creeped into the offices of all the regional agencies within I&F McCann Group.
Unexpected transformations and phenomenal photographs that were immediately posted to the Facebook profiles of agencies, serving as testament to the effort’s great success. In conclusion? Maybe we should have a think about a change in dress code.
